What is a Polypropylene Loop Pile Carpet?
The fibres in a loop pile carpet are looped into the carpet backing to create a textured or patterned appearance, differing from a cut pile carpet where these loops would be cut to produce a more luxurious finish.
Our polypropylene loop pile carpets are a cost-effective alternative to nylon, and are intrinsically stain-resistant, anti-static and extremely durable, making them perfect for most commercial and industrial spaces. The only exception would be where spiked or studded footwear may be in use, such as golf clubs and other sporting facilities, as these can catch and pull on the loops, spoiling the carpet finish.
